The Debbie Joy Memorial School has been growing, and has big plans for the coming year! DJMS has grown to include preschool through grade 5 with a total of 53 students. To accommodate those students, the school is able to use another building on the property to hold classes. Fena and Maxwell are teaching 2 classes each (one morning, one afternoon). The usual schedule for the students begin at 7 am and ends at 3 pm, with lunch at 12 noon LRPI donations have helped buy more books and supplies to aid in the students getting all the subjects that they will need to be successful. Kangwa is teaching ICT (computers), and the students are loving it! Even more is in store for this year- this month they are taking a field trip to the zoo, and there are plans to build 4 classrooms onto the school building in the fall if we can get all the needed people and supplies. Fena and Maxwell are also working hard to get parents involved, and even have parent meetings to discuss the budget and how the parents can help. Praise God for his continued provision for the school, and please continue to support the DJMS in prayer and financially as Fena, Kangwa, Maxwell, and others work to enable children to be healthy and successful.
