The Debbie Joy School was founded in 2010 in the village of Murundu with a few village children under a small corrugated shelter. Today the school serves 365, K-12th graders in 6 classrooms and has been accredited as a community school by the Zambian Ministry of Education. Educational focus is on literacy, math and Christian education. Tuition, as well as a school breakfast and lunch, is free for all students. All teachers at Debbie Joy School hold Zambian teacher certificates. |
