Join us in providing NEW SCHOOL UNIFORMS for 170 KIDS attending the Debbie Joy School in Murundu, Zambia!
GOAL AMOUNT | $2,878.10 RAISED AMOUNT | $1,463.00 START DATE | 30 January 2018 END DATE | 01 April 2018 OVERVIEW | The Debbie Joy School, in Murundu, Zambia, is in need of funding for school uniforms for 170 students spanning grades preschool to seventh grade. |
PROJECT DETAILS | The Debbie Joy School, which is located in Murundu, Zambia, has approximately 170 coed students in classes from preschool through seventh grade. The school is in need of new school uniforms, for students of all grades, for the 2018 school year. The contributions from this project will go directly to purchase new school uniforms for each student, which will include: Boys Uniforms (shirt, pants, shoes) & Girls Uniforms (dress, shoes).
The total cost for a new uniform, for a single student, is approximately $16.93* (K165)**: uniform clothing costs $8.21* (K80)** and shoes cost $8.72* (K85)**. All uniforms and shoes will be purchased in Zambia which will aid in promoting their local economy. The total cost to provide uniforms for every student at the school, 170 students, drives this projects goal amount of $2,878.10!

STEP 2: The Special Project is announced on the LRPI website's SPECIAL PROJECT page!
STEP 3: Contrubutions are collected.
STEP 4: The Special Project will remain OPEN for contributions for a specified duration.
STEP 5: At the close of the Special Project, LRPI will total up the contributions and report the
RAISED AMOUNT, with the anticipation that the GOAL AMOUNT will be met or
exceeded!
STEP 6: Put the funds that were raised to work! The raised funds GO directly to the identified cause!
