PROJECT DETAILS | The Debbie Joy School, which is located in Murundu, Zambia, has approximately 150 coed students in classes from preschool through seventh grade. The school is in need of textbooks, for the students of all grades, for the 2017 school year. The contributions from this project will go to purchase textbooks to support learning in subject areas such as reading, math and basic sciences. March 1, 2017 | We COULD NOT have done it without YOU! To all the people who contributed to the project, thank you, thank you, thank you! We are so excited to put these funds to work, buying much need textbooks for all the kids at the Debbie Joy School in Murundu, Zambia. We met our goal of $1000 and exceed it by $20, wow!

November 4, 2017 | LRPI purchased textbooks and dictionaries for the Debbie Joy School in Murundu, Zambia with the funds raised! Textbooks were purchased, to date, for first grade through seventh grade, on the subjects of English, Cibemba, science, mathematics, and social studies. In addition, ten dictionaries were purchased to be shared amongst all the grade levels. Approximately 42% of the $1020 funds raised have been spent, to date. The additional money remaining will be used to purchase textbooks for the 2018 school year!
